2018Mudlarks Running Group - 2018 Preseason Fitness Running Sat mornings.
If you missed the 13th, you can get into your own program any day of the week. Just follow Paws' schedule and you can at least be on track, if a little behind the fitness guru.
(Even Old Merciless bung knees and back will be doing it at a quick walking pace, about 10min/km)
Brendan Pawsey has designed a bespoke little 6 session running/fitness program to increase our fitness and speed.
Meet in Royal Parade, north of Carlton footy ground at the “Sports Pavilion” at 8:25am for 8:30 start Sat Jan 13.
If you can’t make it, here is the 6 session program to follow at your convenience:
Ray:- In very trying conditions (28dgC at 8:00am and a strong northerly blowing) eight Mudlarks turned up for their time-trial.
Pawsey and Chris Reynolds were apologies. Phantom still injured presumably, and James Button ran his time-trial on Wednesday evening in 15m42s.
Bart stormed in fastest in 13:31, there was a group close together Bobby 15:07, me 15:10, Halo 15:12, Rohan 15:14 – FYI other than mine, these are recollections. So, perhaps we should make contact with the guys and get their exact times?
